On December 3rd, 2003, the Chairman and Founder of NSS, Mr. Kailash Agarwal 'Manav', received the 'Personal Category Award' at a national level by His Excellency, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, for excellent services in the field of "Welfare of Persons with Disabilities".
On November 9th, 2011, the Chairman and Founder of NSS, Mr. Kailash Agarwal 'Manav', received the ‘National Award’ by former Indian Union Minister for Finance, Pranav Mukherjee.
On December 3, 2023, Mr. Prashant Agrawal, the Global President of the Narayan Seva Sansthan, was honored with the prestigious National Award for "the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities" by the esteemed President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu. The National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Attendees included Dr Virendra Kumar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, along with other dignitaries, Ramdas Athawale, Pratima Bhoumik and A. Narayan Swami. Prashant Agrawal was recognised with an award for his exceptional work in empowering the disabled community. Through pioneering efforts, he has established residential schools, and vocational training centres, and facilitated access to assistive devices that have greatly benefited differently-abled individuals across the country. The national awards ceremony honoured Prashant Agrawal for his laudable contributions and impactful initiatives that have enriched the lives of millions.
