Shradh Paksha

 

Shradh Paksha, also known as Pitru Paksha or Mahalaya, is a sacred period dedicated to paying homage to our ancestors and departed loved ones. During this holy period, the rituals of Tarpan (offering to the ancestors) and charity, performed with devotion and reverence, are collectively known as Shradh. Our ancestors have given us life on this earth, and it is our duty to pray for the peace of their souls.

Shradh Tithi Tarpan

Shradh Tithi Tarpan is a ritual of remembrance, worship, and offering to the ancestors. As stated in the Brahma Purana, “Performing Tarpan for the ancestors with proper rituals helps repay the ancestral debt.” During this time, Shradh is performed for the peace of the souls of the ancestors.

This ritual will be performed by our experienced priests, gives you the opportunity to express your gratitude toward your ancestors. Through this ritual, you can honor and pay your respects to your ancestors. Shradh Tithi Tarpan and pray for the salvation of your ancestors.
