10-year-old Abdul Qadeer is a resident of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and studies in class 5. He had a very serious accident a few years back. When he regained consciousness, he saw that both his hands were lost in that accident, but thank God that his life was saved. He did not lose heart from this accident. After some time he started learning to swim from a coach. By working hard, he was able to play Para Olympics. He also won many gold and silver medals in swimming.
Abdul participated in the 21st National Para Swimming Championship organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In which more than 400 Divyangs from 23 states participated and felicitated medals. He is very happy to get this special opportunity and award by Narayan Seva Sansthan. Through this Sansthan, he wants to give a message to the differently-abled children and talented sports players like him that one should never give up in life. Whatever is the situation, but one should face it with enthusiasm, only then success comes. Narayan Seva Sansthan and the whole world appreciate such inspiring Divyang swimmer.
